Practice Subtraction and reinforce PK - 2nd grade subtraction with this App.

Choose a category, such as subtracting numbers up to six and see whether or not you can solve 20 problems in one minute. Many schools require that their 1st grader can solve 20 subtraction problems (up to 20) in one minute. This app helps them achieve this goal.

The categories:


"Double" Numbers that the max number is 10 (10-5, 8-4, 6-3 etc.)
"Double" Numbers that the max number is 20 (20-10, 18-9, 16-8 etc.)
Random Numbers up to 6 (6-4, 5-3 etc.)
Random Numbers up to 10 (10-7, 8-3, 7-5 etc.)
Random Numbers up to 20, where the second number less than 10 (20-3, 18-5 etc.)
Random Numbers up to 20, where the second number bigger than 10 (20-17, 19-17 etc.)


Instead of just random numbers, these categories help students build and reinforce their subtraction skills. Limiting the time and the number of questions gives students an achievable goal and because the app is free of distractions, students focus on the task. As goals are achieved, students feel proud of their accomplishment which drives them forward to achieve the next goal.

This app provides positive feedback animation for correct answers and tells students when they got something wrong. The student cannot go to the next question without solving the previous question first.

Each session consists of 20 questions within a category; the session lasts one minute or less if all 20 questions are answered. At the end of the session a score is provided.
